Abstract: The database on ephemeral wetland vegetation covers relevés from coastal and inland seasonal pools in Mediterranean environments of the Aegean region, extending to other Mediterranean parts of Greece and Turkey. While initiated privately it is open for use by others, especially those who contribute own reliable data, and particularly for purposes of nature conservation. It includes a great deal of habitat information on many rare or little known species of the surveyed area. This report describes the available content in the Vegetation Database Isoeto-Nano-Juncetea in Greece and the Aegean Region (GIVD ID EU-GR-003).
