  • Evaluation of different management techniques for the reduction of Calamagrostis epigejos with the aim of conserving and restoring species-rich sandy dry grasslands in northern Germany [jointly with the NABU regional section in Hamburg]   
  • Herbaceous xerothermic vegetation of NE Germany: characterisation, environmental conditions, syntaxonomy and synchorology in the European context, biodiversity patterns, as well as conservation issues.
