Family Aizoaceae

  • Studies of Drosanthemum (110 species) und Delosperma (130 species)
  • Phytogeography of genera and species
  • Sesuvioideae:since 2001 in collaboration with Prof. Dr. S. Liede-Schumann, University of Bayreuth: morphology and molecular studies of Trianthema.
  • Ruschioideae: since 2007 in collaboration with Prof. Dr. S. Liede-Schumann, University of Bayreuth: morphology and molecular studies of Drosanthemum and Delosperma.
  • Nectaries of the Aizoaceae in collaboration with Dr. Ingeborg Niesler since 2004
  • Adaptations and ecology within the Aizoaceae
